Job Opportunity: Construction Cost Estimator at Indecor Group, Inc.

Overview:

Indecor Group, Inc. is looking for a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project teams to develop precise cost estimates.
Identify risks and opportunities for cost savings throughout projects.
Present detailed estimates to management and clients.
Assist in bid proposals and contract negotiations.
Prepare and document change order estimates.
Review order acknowledgments and quotes within a 48-hour timeframe for accuracy.
Communicate any changes in scope, product, or schedule to the sales team and project manager promptly.
Ensure 100% accuracy on resubmittals and review returned submittals, reporting findings within 72 hours.
Monitor project expenses and stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
Provide regular reports on project cost status and progress.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in construction cost estimation, construction project engineering, or a related field.
Experience with construction materials, methods, and processes is essential.
